The Ascension Public Schools Education Department and Special Education Advisory Council are proud to present the Promoting Access and Connections Resource Fair for families of special education students on March 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at East Ascension High School. Special Education Director Lynn Hathaway says, “This event is aimed at providing valuable information and connections for Ascension Parish’s students and families receiving special education services. We are excited to not only bring resources to the families we serve but also hope to foster a stronger sense of community support.” Attendees will engage with behavioral providers, receive assistance, consult with lawyers, and connect with independent living service providers. Food will also be provided.
