Bayou Bash Football Recruiting Party. Annual event at the Baton Rouge River Center from 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m. on Wednesday February 1st. Features food, giveaway contests, the LSU Golden Girls, auction items, videos of recruits and guest speakers. The Golden Band from Tiger Land will perform at 5:30 p.m.

Ascension Parish Skate Park Grand Opening. Held at the park located behind the East Ascension High School on Erma Boulevard, Gonzales, from noon-5 p.m. on February 4th, with live music, free food and skateboarding. For more information, call (985) 212-4342.
