St. Joseph’s Academy’s (SJA) swim team brought home its 13th consecutive state championship from the 2023 LHSAA Division I Swim Meet. The team scored 418 points to gain the lead ahead of runner-up Dominican by the razor-thin advantage of one point. In another win, the cross country team won its eighth consecutive LHSSA state championship. The Redstickers scored 51 points to take the lead over Mount Carmel. This race marked the seventh time that SJA had at least three runners finish in the top 10.
