Get ready to relive the magic of Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre’s annual holiday production, The Nutcracker: A Tale from the Bayou, this holiday season! You’ll be enchanted by the full sets of Nels Anderson, including experiencing crowd-favorite magical moments, like the rising of the hot air balloon, and of course, the beautiful dancing of the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre dancers. This production features more than 100 community dancers and some of the most sought-after professional guest artists. Performances of The Nutcracker will be held at the River Center Theatre for Performing Arts at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. from December 16-17. Tickets cost $30-90.
