The Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre is presenting the cherished holiday production, The Nutcracker – A Tale From the Bayou, and is casting local children so they can experience the magic. This opportunity is for ages 8 to 14, and these kiddos will play lambs, mice, cooks, toy soldiers, and cherubs. Auditions begin Sunday, September 17, and the auditions cost $10 to try out. For children who are auditioning, arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time and wear ballet slippers, a leotard, and tights.
