2019-20 Cover Kid Samuel “Sam” H. felt right at home while fishing during his photo shoot, as he lives on a pond and loves to go fishing with his Dad. His mom refers to him as his Dad’s shadow, and the two enjoy golfing together, going duck hunting, and spending all their time outdoors. 

While Sam has enjoyed visiting Mike the Tiger during time at home, he really misses his friends and can’t wait to return to school to see them when he starts Kindergarten next fall. And he will definitely be ready as he has already started learning to read.

Sam is kind-hearted, super fun and silly, generous, thoughtful and the best big brother. He plays t-ball, soccer and flag football, and he hopes to be a policeman when he gets older.
