Pregnancy and the Sun!

As temperatures this summer continue to remain dangerously high, Woman’s Hospital has emphasized that pregnant women exercise caution and monitor themselves closely as they go about their daily lives. This is due to the fact that pregnant women are more susceptible to heat-related illnesses which can lead to pregnancy complications. Woman’s recommends these women stay cool, hydrated, and informed of heat warnings in their area as well as the symptoms of heat-related illnesses. This helps out not just you but the baby that you’re growing inside of you! For more information on how to beat the heat, click here
