Surge Entertainment, the fun-filled entertainment center with bowling, rock climbing, an arcade, laser tag, a full bar and restaurant, and even sports and golf simulations, is opening in Baton Rouge later this year. The entertainment company is co-owned by Drew Brees, former New Orleans Saints quarterback. “We’ve been looking for the perfect location in Baton Rouge for a long time and we’ve found it!” Brees says. “Surge Entertainment will be a top destination spot in Baton Rouge with all of the unique attractions we offer.” The new hot spot will open at 5555 Burbank Drive (where the Winn Dixie grocery store was) by the end of 2023.
