Stroll through historic Bellingrath Gardens. The historic home of Walter and Bessie Bellingrath spans 65-acres and is a public garden located on Fowl River. Step back in time at Fort Conde, a reconstruction of the Civil War fort that protected the Mobile Bay. Fort Conde is located in the heart of downtown Mobile, next to the Bankhead Tunnel. Picnick and hike at the 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center. The 5 Rivers Delta is the place where the Mobile, Spanish, Tensaw, Apalachee, and Blakeley Rivers meet. Take a ghost tour at Oakleigh Mansion with the Oakleigh Belles. Within the Historic District of Downtown Mobile, Oakleigh Mansion has been around since 1833. The Oakleigh Belles serve as ambassadors to the home and give guided tours during which you can learn more about Mobile and the antebellum South.
