Luke’s Students Collect Cereal Boxes for Mega Domino Chain

Students at St. Luke’s Episcopal School collected 1,154 full-sized cereal boxes for a supersized domino chain that fell across campus. This project doubled as a food bank donation. The entire student body, Pre-K through 8th grade, helped set up the chain and cheered as the box dominos fell. After the demonstration, the school donated the cereal to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, which supplied more than 15,000 meals to those in need. Fourth-grade STEAM students researched and planned the project and organized a school-wide drive to gather the cereal boxes.
