Recently, Helix Community Schools launched a website for its Helix AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Medical Academy, which is set to open in August 2025. The website features important information about the new school and what residents in St. Landry Parish can expect, including its mission, curriculum, construction, and upcoming plans. Jennifer Gordon, Executive Director for Growth and Opportunities and Founding Principal of Helix AI and Medical says, “We’ve received lots of questions from people interested in learning more about the school so we’re excited to launch our new website to help keep residents informed.” Helix AI and Medical will offer classes for students in kindergarten through fifth grades, expanding to grades six through eight in 2026. The goal is to add a grade level each year, to become a K-12 school by 2030.
