Free Online Immunization Records

After searching for months, my husband and I finally found the perfect preschool for our three-year-old son. During the application process I realized the multiple documents I needed to collect. After finding all that was required, I was left with the immunization records. I worried that the window to get him in would close before I was able to see his doctor. I called his pediatrician, and she told me about MyIR.net, an online resource for immunization records. In my pajamas and on my couch, I went to LA.MyIR.net and followed the instructions. Within minutes I was staring at not only my son’s records, but mine as well. I printed them the next day at work and brought the packet to the preschool, relieved to put the packet in their hands.

I know that from now on, whether I need records for a new school or camp registration or a new doctor, I will use our account on MyIR because it’s the best place to access our official, consolidated immunization records quickly and for free. It puts me in control of our family’s immunization records whenever I need them.

Follow these 3 simple steps to access your family’s official immunization records:

  1. Use your personal computer or mobile device to visit LA.MyIR.net and enter the required registration information.
  2. Select “AutoMatch” and Click “Next.” If a matching record is found, an access code will be sent to your phone number immediately. Enter the 4-digit access code into MyIR to access your family’s immunization records.
  3. If your record was not found or you did not receive an access code, please call or visit your healthcare provider to update your information and complete the registration process. In this case, your provider will give you a unique access code to enter into MyIR.

This process was simple and easy. Instead of keeping up with papers in folders strewn across my house, I now have one destination for our immunization records, which really helps this minimalist.
