At only eight years old, Farrah Martin is already making a name for herself in the acting world. This young, budding actress claimed the lead role of “Anna” in Blood Runs Down, a film that has been shown at several New Orleans film festivals. She has also been a part of two major television series, CBS’s SEAL Team and Hulu’s The First, and she even got to work with her favorite actor, Denzel Washington, in Equalizer 2. 

Her mother, Ericka, shares, “She’s a jack of all trades. She excels in everything she does. If she picks up a tennis racket, she’ll play tennis. She can pick up on anything quickly without having any training.”

Despite her thriving acting career, Farrah stays grounded and enjoys simply being a kid, whether she is going to her weekly gymnastics classes, riding her bike, running her lemonade stand in her neighborhood, or singing and dancing around her house. She also loves mermaids and even has her very own mermaid tail which she enjoys swimming with in the pool. 

She just recently went to Las Vegas with her family, and while she saw a lot of cool sights, one of her favorite things to do was swim in the pool at the hotel with her mermaid tail.

This summer, along with more auditions, she plans to attend one of the children’s programs at MIT in Boston due to her love of making concoctions and inventing things.

Farrah makes friends easily, will talk to anyone, and is an excellent role model. She’s an honor roll student at Dutchtown Primary and also a member of the drama club. She’s fun, caring, and a great actress, making her one amazing kid.
