Episcopal Student Named U.S. Presidential Scholar

Episcopal School of Baton Rouge congratulated senior Kathy Hu for being named one of two honorees in the U.S. Presidential Scholars program. The winners were selected from more than 6,000 candidates expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in 2024. In addition to being a Presidential Scholar, Kathy is also a National Merit Finalist, an AP Scholar with Distinction, and an Episcopal Webster Scholar. Kathy is actively involved with Mu Alpha Theta, Youth Legislature, and the Science Olympiad. This school year, she presented research at the National Obesity Week Conference hosted by the Obesity Society and is a Student Ambassador and Honors Thesis student.
