Education

Dimaria Christophe

A junior at Brusly High School, Dimaria Christophe takes after her mother when it comes to her work ethic. She is never afraid to face the endless amount of obstacles that tend to stand in one’s way as they undergo life. Instead, she faces it down with a can-do attitude knowing that there is no limit to what one can do, especially if it involves her future.

Dimaria will need this attitude if she plans on pursuing a career as a family court lawyer. As a matter of fact, she is already doing that. Dimaria received an invitation to attend a law and trial program at Stanford University. Instead of letting cost and other obstacles stop her from pursuing something that can give her a wealth of experience and education, she sought out a means to fund it by reaching out to Gordan McKernan Injury Attorneys who ended up donating towards the cost of attending the program.

In her free time, she can be seen enjoying a good book, sewing, and playing a good game of beach volleyball. At school, she is a part of Beta, the Academic Club, Student Council, and the A Team. Why is she part of these clubs? They give her the best opportunity to be active in her community and help out where she feels she can. With the A Team, she is able to help mentor incoming freshmen as they navigate through the halls of high school for the very first time.

For Dimaria, that is how she wants to live her life. To be respectful and nice to everyone, and most importantly to pay attention to one’s surroundings and help out wherever she can. Her work ethic as well as her heart for others is what makes Dimaria One Amazing Kid.
