Community Rock Snake Project

City of Walker’s Parks and Recreation Department has launched its Community Rock Program, Jake the Snake, in collaboration with the Kindness Rock Project of Louisiana. Rock snakes involve a collection of painted rocks forming a snake with a larger rock serving as the head. These rocks are adorned with positive messages, unique artwork, and creative designs that highlight local artists and bring together the community. The primary goal of this project is to foster community cohesion through the collective creation of these rock snakes. This project is open to all ages. walkerparksandrec.com
