All Star Lanes Baton Rouge recently awarded Ryan Droddy ‘26 a $500 Mike LaCroix Memorial Scholarship. Ryan was selected from a pool of nominees based on academic standing, bowling involvement, a written essay, a proposal, and demonstrated leadership qualities. Mike LaCroix, former General Manager of All Star Lanes Baton Rouge, was instrumental in putting together the company’s youth program in Baton Rouge and statewide. He advocated for high school bowling teams, youth tournaments, and providing a safe environment so young people can thrive. Mike believed the only way bowling will survive as a sport is by investing in today’s youth.
