Baton Rouge Symphony League’s Mad Hatter’s Event

For centuries, art and fashion have shared a rich love affair. Two separate elements tightly intertwined by the influence they have on each other, producing bold and daring results globally. Explore your inner artist as you don your most fashionable hat for Baton Rouge Symphony League’s Mad Hatter’s event.

This luncheon featuring Mistress of ceremonies, former LSU gymnastics coach, D-D Breaux; Honorary Chair, Chair of the Baton Rouge’s Symphony’s Irene W. and C. B. Pennington Great Performers in Concert Series, Diane Tate; and Fashion Designer and teacher, Andrea Eastin with Fair Fit Studio will also showcase our first ever Wearable Art Fashion show with designs created by local artist and fashion designers.

Enjoy games and pulls before the event, and take a chance on one of our exciting raffles while you celebrate. Our three raffles include our desired Date Night package which included 12 $100 gift cards to restaurants, the always coveted Raffaele Furs & Boutique fur coat, and a gorgeous five-strand mesh bracelet with diamond speckles, valued at $3,700 and donated by Lee Michaels. Finish off our event with our popular Hat Contest!

As always, our silent auction will be present at the event but will also go live online the Monday of the event and close out on Thursday during the event. Our items can be viewed the week before at charityauction.bid/artistasandfashionistas.

Local boutiques, businesses, and artists will take the forefront in our pop-up shopping experience after the luncheon from 1-3 p.m.

Join in on the fun on Thursday, March 24 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 4728 Constitution Ave, from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased for the raffles and seating/tables through the online website, charityauction.bid/artistasandfashionistas.

This year, the Baton Rouge Symphony League is celebrating its 73rd year of serving the community by supporting the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra (BRSO). Year after year, the BRSO brings the best of the world’s most talented artists to our city’s stages and inspires a new generation of young artists across our community.

Through this partnership, the Baton Rouge Symphony League helps fill a great need for continued arts education and outreach to the young people of Baton Rouge. The League hosts an annual Culture Camp for the Boys & Girls Club, supports the Louisiana Youth Orchestra, and participates in many coordinated activities in the arts community. All of this is possible thanks to the generous support of the citizens and businesses of Baton Rouge.
