Mason Jar Luminaries

Materials

  • Mason jar

  • Mod Podge

  • A paint brush

  • Orange, yellow, and red

  • tissue paper or leaves

  • Small electric candle

Directions

  1. Rip the tissue paper into small pieces.

  2. Using Mod Podge, paint a section of the outside of the mason jar.

  3. Cover the painted area with tissue paper.

  4. Repeat steps 2-3 until the entire jar is covered. It’s easier to do small sections at a time because the Mod Podge dries quickly.

  5. After, coat everything with Mod Podge just to make sure everything is in place. Let it dry.

  6. Place the candle in the jar, and watch the fall colors light up.
