Active for Autism 5K, Fun Walk, and Family Fun Fest

It’s time to lace up your shoes for the annual Active for Autism (AFA) 5K on Saturday, April 27 at 8 a.m. at Pennington Biomedical Research Center. This event promotes awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. The community is invited to come out in celebration and support of individuals affected by autism and their families. AFA includes a 5K run, a one-mile awareness walk, and a family fun festival. Proceeds will go to benefit all Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge programs and will help go towards future events concerning the acceptance and awareness surrounding those with ASD.
