What started as a new business in a tiny room in 2006 has blossomed into Baton Rouge’s premier full body waxing salon for men and women. There have been many changes throughout the years at Zanellas Wax Bar, but the heart and the values of the business have always remained the same.

Zanellas Wax Bar is a small, family-owned business that Haley & Peter Dorsey became the proud owners of in 2021. After years of working alongside the previous owner, Haley’s knowledge of aesthetics has grown with the ever changing industry. She has kept the legacy of Zanellas alive while also creating a fresh, modern space to grow in the future.

“At Zanellas Wax Bar, we are all about the clients. Our goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment, while providing the best possible experience for each individual,” Haley says. “Whether it be your first Brazilian wax or your teenager’s first eyebrow wax, we are here to ease your mind through the process, and have you leave feeling your absolute best.”

Haley loves to call Zanellas a “safe space;” one where all body types are welcome without judgment. You can come as you are and know that you are in good hands with professionals who love and respect what they do.
